The material used for the manufacture of this wire has been anodised aluminium (electrochemical process that changes the surface of the wire, protecting it against corrosion).
It is used to make the structural parts of your bonsai, such as the base, trunk, bends and twists. Its round shape makes it easy to bend, twist and wrap. Aluminium wire is stiffer than copper wire and does not deform easily. It is also reusable and does not have to be annealed.
It is available in several different diameters, so you can choose the most suitable one to achieve the desired end result.
