The top specification Lumatek Zeus 1000W Xtreme PPFD CO2 LED is a linear multiple light bar fixture that produces extremely high PPF levels of 2925 µmol/s and a Photon Efficiency (binding efficiency) of 2.9 µmol/J.

The Zeus 1000W Xtreme PPFD CO2 produces extremely high levels of light intensity requiring the use of supplemental CO2 for those planning to grow in 1.5×1.5m grow areas with short distances from Canopy to light. The use of CO2 with this accessory is not mandatory, but to run without it, we recommend a longer distance from the canopy to the light, ensuring optimal PPFD levels according to the growth stage. With the latter method, the expected optimal coverage area reaches 1.8×1.8m but with lower PPFD intensity concentration levels.

The use of carbon dioxide (CO2) supplementation in your controlled environment can significantly improve the performance of your crop if used correctly. In general, a good rule of thumb is that once you exceed PPFD levels of 1000 µmol/s/m2, it should be 1:1 with CO2 PPM, up to 1500. So, at a maximum PPFD = 1500 µmol/s/s/m2, the CO2 would be 1500 PPM (a little lower, 1400 PPM may be the safest to start with).

The new Zeus line is built with high quality Lumatek drivers and state-of-the-art top container LEDs from Lumileds and Osram, creating a full-spectrum light source ideal for vegging and flowering cycles. Also new to this line is the Clear Glue protective cover technology on the LED bars; resulting in a higher light transmittance of 99% with no light loss, longer diode life, additional corrosion resistance and high waterproofness of IP65. For basic maintenance, simply wipe the bars with damp cotton wool.

For different cultivars, propagation periods and vegetative growth, the Zeus can be dimmed without loss of efficiency. The high efficiency, low power LED configuration with 10 LED bars reduces the temperature of the LEDs by increasing the output and improving light maintenance.

The Zeus fixture can also be externally controlled with a Lumatek digital lighting controller (Digital Panel Plus 2.0) featuring light timing, automatic dimming (1% increments), temperature safety control, Sunrise & Sunset Mode for up to 100 fixtures per controller.

Compatibility with universal control systems
Lumatek Zeus LED luminaires can be fully controlled with the Lumatek Digital Panel Plus 2.0 or any other control system that uses a 0-10V output signal. Even if your universal controller has an RJ port interface, you can still run our LEDs using an RJ to 0-10V signal converter control adapter.
