The Red Round Radish (Raphanus sativus) is an annual or biennial plant belonging to the Brassicaceae family, native to Eurasia and the eastern Mediterranean area, although today it is cultivated practically all over the world.< /p>

Morphologically, it differs by producing a stem that is up to 100cm tall and not very branched, developing long leaves that emerge from its base and small pink flowers in spring. Its fruits are produced underground, are deep red in color and round in shape.

In regions with a temperate climate it can be germinated throughout the year, although the ideal time is between March and November, burying the tape with seeds in a small furrow in the mixture of worm humus or compost and soil, soaking it well with water, covering it with 1cm of soil and watering again.
