Reasons for use

In dense or tall crops, the mid-plant areas are often shaded or underlit by the canopy cover above. Solux Inter Canopy LED strips are placed between plants to directly illuminate these critical areas, promoting photosynthesis and ensuring even flower and fruit development throughout the plant.

The red spectrum, essential for growth and development, has limited penetration to about 60 cm, which reduces or eliminates the Emerson effect in the mid and lower parts, drastically decreasing photosynthetic capacity and affecting both crop production and quality.
