Details

It is very important to always install a suitable overvoltage switch in the electrical distribution board of your crop, premises or house.

In the event of an overvoltage peak above 270V or below 170V the overvoltage switch will disconnect the installation completely, and after 1 minute it will reconnect if the voltage is already correct, if it is not, it will continue to wait.

It is not necessary to be present in the installation for it to start working again. This avoids unwanted breakage of all electrical equipment connected to the installation.

A surge protector becomes essential to optimise the electrical installation of your grow room or home, especially in those areas where there are significant fluctuations in the network. These areas often have severe voltage disturbances, sporadic or permanent, caused by:

Long length of utility cabling in remote areas
Poor wiring quality
Overloading of utility wiring
Failure of one of the phases in the utility's installation.
Areas with frequent power cuts.

This surge protector does not have any buttons, as it is 100% automatic for disconnection and connection. It only has 2 LED indicators:

Green: to confirm that it is receiving voltage at the input and will be on as long as it is connected and there is voltage at the input.
Red: to indicate that there has been an anomaly and is protecting the installation by disconnecting the output.

In order to dimension the correct power rating, the approximate maximum current of the equipment must be taken into account:
