The HI98103 Checker pH Tester has been designed with many advanced features, while maintaining the appearance of the original Checker. The redesigned tester now offers automatic one- or two-point calibration, automatic buffer recognition, calibrated buffer labels, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable automatic shutdown. The Checker still maintains the iconic pentagon design with aprobe measuring 103mm in length and tapered to a diameter of 8mm making it ideal for test tubes and vials .

Large LCD - Improved LCD showing readout, stability indicator, low battery indicator and calibration labels.
Automatic Calibration: The Checker automatically calibrates to one or two points. Calibration buffers are automatically recognized and after calibration, the buffer values used are displayed on the screen as a label.
Stability Indicator - An hourglass indicator is displayed on the LCD screen until a stable reading is obtained. Once the reading is stabilized, the indicator disappears and a reading can be recorded.
Auto Power Off: The meter can be set to automatically turn off after 8 minutes or 60 minutes to conserve battery life in case the meter remains on. The auto power off function can be disabled.
Long Battery Life - The Checker has an exceptionally long battery life of approximately 1000 hours. When the battery power is low, a low battery indicator is displayed.
Replaceable pH Electrode - The gel-filled pH electrode supplied by HI1271 fits a diameter of 8mm at the end detection. This narrow electrode easily fits into test tubes, vials and other containers with a small opening.
We advise you to promptly recalibrate the pH meter with a suitable calibration solution for optimal accuracy (pH 4.00 and 7.00 or 10.00). You can combine the purchase of a pH meter with a pH calibration solution (available in our store) without additional shipping costs.
