The Tuff-Weigh from On Balance is manufactured with a tough plastic case featuring rubber grips so that it doesn't easily slip from your grasp. This scale also boasts an extra-large 14 mm. digital display set against an orange back-light for enhanced clarity. This On Balance TUF-1000 also has six weighing modes - grams, ounces, troy ounces, pennyweights, carats and grains. Its detachable stainless steel lid, measuring 76 mm x 59 mm, also doubles up as the weighing tray. It even has a variable Auto-Off so that you can adjust the length of time the scale spends idle before the unit shuts down to save battery power.
