The boxwood moth attacks several species of buxus (boxwood), including Buxus sempervirens, Buxus microphylla, Buxus sinica, and Buxus colchica.
It is considered a serious threat to the boxwood present in parks and gardens, as well as to natural ecosystems. It is recommended to act preventively for effective control of the boxwood moth.
Its use is recommended from November to March. In this period, the cocoons of hibernating larvae must be removed and destroyed.
Early detection of the attack
Control with BUXatrap traps: essential for the early detection of box moth attacks and avoid severe damage to the plant.
Use BUXatrap in combination with the sex pheromone PHERODIS Cydalima perspectalis, available in a dosing syringe (1 syringe - 2 doses - 1 trap).
