Saboten Tungsten Sharpener (PT-8)

The Saboten Multifunction Sharpener is a tool designed to restore the sharpness of any type of straight-bladed tool, including scissors, knives, saws and shears. Its compact and multifunctional design makes it ideal for restoring the effectiveness of tools, as well as promoting their long-term maintenance.

This product has two different areas that perform specific functions. The top part contains a tungsten sharpener, a material known for its extreme hardness and sharpening capacity, commonly used to polish diamonds.

The other part houses an anti-rust lubricant that, applied after each use of the sharpener, is capable of significantly extending the useful life of the tools, since it not only prevents oxidation, but also facilitates optimal and long-lasting performance.

Instructions for use:

• To sharpen the blade, we will bring the edge close to the tungsten area and make movements from left to right along the edge of the blade repeatedly until we obtain the desired sharpness. The more homogeneous the distribution of friction, the better sharpened it will be.
• To finish, we will apply a thin layer of oil that will keep the edge of the blade protected, extending the durability of a good cutting capacity, while preventing the tool from rusting right on the edge. By losing the protective layers that are usually applied after sharpening, the metal is exposed to rust.
