The Red Cherry Small hot pepper has a beautiful shape very similar to a cherry. It is not difficult to guess where the name comes from once it produces its fruits, since they are hot peppers the size and shape of a cherry, which with the passage of maturation turns Ferrari red.
The fruit is far from most spicy chilis, having a tougher skin and being quite meaty, so they are not usually dried, rather, one of their greatest uses is pickled, to accompany all kinds of sandwiches and salads. In addition, its spiciness is not excessive, obtaining 2,500 - 5,000 UCS (Scoville Heat Units) on the Scoville scale.
Growing this hot pepper is even easier than its peers as it has a slightly shorter maturation time. Likewise, its germination should be done at the end of February, beginning of March, just at the end of the last frosts.
Remember to acclimate the plant to the outdoors by taking it out little by little, and at first during the day. When the minimum temperature does not drop below 10-15 degrees, it can be completely removed. Its hydration is very important, with periodic watering.
